Announcements

The arrangements for the new term start with the expectation that all students will complete a lateral flow test in school, on Wednesday 5th January 2022. Students will only attend school to undertake an on-site Lateral Flow Test.  Students are not expected to wear school uniform on this day.   Once the test has been completed, students should leave the school site and return for the start of lessons on Thursday, 6^th January 2022. Please note contract buses will not run until Thursday 6th January 2022. 

The following times have been allocated for testing:

8.30 am to 9.30 am                   Year 11, 12 and 13 

9.30 am to 10.00 am                 Year 9 and 10 

10.00 am to 10.30 am               Year 7 and 8 

Important information regarding testing:

• Siblings can be tested at the same time; there is no need to inform us of which time slot your children will be attending
• If your child has tested positive for COVID in the last 90 days, they do not need to attend for a lateral flow test
• If you have travelled back from a foreign country and your child has carried out the day 2 or day 8 PCR test with a negative result in the 48 hours preceding their allocated slot, your child is not required to attend for a lateral flow test, providing that evidence of the negative result is sent to p.ramsden.bch@osborne.coop
• Your child must wear a mask unless they are exempt, and should be prepared to wear face masks in school and on both dedicated school and public transport until further notice.
