What our students say
"I have really enjoyed studying Politics at A Level, it is not only an interesting and dynamic choice of subject but also has allowed me to see our political system in a completely new light. Although Politics is not necessarily the direct path I would like to take in choosing my career, I have gained transferable skills in debating, analysing, evaluating and also writing in an extended form. In year twelve my class and I had the opportunity to take part in a debate against other local schools - this built on my confidence as a public speaker but also has helped me in being able to speak with professional sensitivity. (Which is a skill needed despite your choice of career path). The skills I have gained from studying Politics have without a doubt contributed to my ability to be a successful and confident Head Girl."
