Extra Curricular
At Brentwood County High School we constantly seek to inspire our students to be curious and passionate about their world. We ensure horizons are extended through foreign travel, field trips, conferences and visits to theatres and museums.
Students have the opportunity to go on trips to Austria, Barcelona and the French Chateau region. Older students are involved in World Challenge which enables them to travel further afield to experience life in different cultures and to assist in community projects. On one of these trips BCHS students travelled to Ecuador where they trekked through mountain and rainforest environments before using their leadership and team skills to help with development work.
Each of the five houses has a charity for which the students and staff fund raise. Many students take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, and still more of help the community by becoming Junior Sports Leaders who assist primary schools with sporting events.
All students take part in national charity fundraising events including Sports Relief, Children in Need and Comic Relief.
