Bad Weather and Emergency Closure Procedure
Events such as heavy snowfall sometimes make it necessary to close the school. We have procedures in place to ensure parents and students are notified as quickly and efficiently as possible.
In the event the school has to close, information for parents will be provided via the following:
- An email/text will be sent to all parents and carers via the My Child At School App (MCAS).
- BBC Essex (103.5) and Heart Essex FM (96.3 or 102.6) Snow lines

An email will also be sent to all parents and carers via the My Child At School App (MCAS). It is therefore ery important that if you have not already done so, notify us of any changes to your email.
