Wednesday 24th June – Parent Information Evening (5.00pm)
This evening will provide important information about the induction days and your child’s move to secondary school. You will meet key staff, learn more about expectations in Year 7 and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Transition Days
Thursday 25th June – Transition Day 1 (9:30am – 2:30pm)
Our first transition day will be an opportunity for pupils to have their first assembly and experience
some of the many subjects that we offer. All children are asked to wear their primary school uniform
and bring a pencil case on the first day.
Friday 26th June – Transition Day 2 (9:30am-2.30pm)
Our second transition day will include Team building activities, orienteering and sports competitions.
All children are expected to wear their primary school PE kit (trainers are essential) on this day.
Break and Lunch
We ask that children bring a packed lunch and refillable water bottle during the two transition days.
We will provide a packed lunch for children who are eligible for Free School Meals and a snack at
breaktime for all students

Free School Meals
If you are currently in receipt of Free School Meals, we are advised by the Local Authorities that you
will need to make an application at the point of transfer from primary to secondary school via your
Local Council. This must be completed from the 1st August 2026 and before 1st September to ensure
our lists are up to date and correct. Please check the eligibility criteria before you apply to avoid
unnecessary applications.
