Students, staff and families at Brentwood County High School are celebrating an outstanding set of GCSE and vocational results, marking the school's strongest performance to date.
The results reflect the hard work, determination and resilience shown by students throughout their studies, as well as the unwavering support of staff and parents who have helped them achieve their goals.
Steve Bonnar, Headteacher of Brentwood County High School, said:
"We are immensely proud of our fantastic students. They have approached their studies with tremendous hard work, resilience and ambition and today they can celebrate everything they have achieved.
These results would not have been possible without our incredibly dedicated and talented staff, who have worked tirelessly to support every student. I would also like to thank our parents and carers for the encouragement and support they have provided throughout this important stage of their children's education.
To see such significant improvement across the school is incredibly encouraging. It reflects a school community where high expectations are matched by genuine care, commitment and a determination to ensure that no child is left behind.
I offer my warmest congratulations to the Class of 2026 and wish every student every success as they move on to sixth form, college, apprenticeships and the next stage of their journey."
This success follows Brentwood County High School's strongest-ever A-level and vocational results, making it an exceptional summer of achievement for the entire school community.
As our Year 11 students look ahead to the next stage of their education and training, they do so with a wealth of achievements to be proud of and a strong foundation for future success.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026. We look forward to hearing about your future accomplishments and wish you every success in the years ahead.
